How to Sign Up and Use SAM 

 

Overview of the sign-up process and SAM usage for the Basketball Australia coaches completing the Reflective Practice Module.

  1. Head to Training Library and select Basketball Australia Coaching:
  2. Click on Coach Logic Platform button:
  3. You will be redirected to set up your account::

    You have 4 options:
    1. Link to an existing Coach Logic account
    2. Use your Gmail account
    3. Use your Apple account
    4. Set up a new username and password.
     
  4. Complete your account details to create your Coach Logic account and access SAM:
  5. Choose to pay with or without link:
  6. Complete payment:
  7. Hit Upload to upload your coaching session:
  8. Click Upload Session button:


    TIP: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR AUDIO IS CLEAR FOR THE SAM TO COMPLETE ANALYSIS.
     
  9. Complete the Session Details section. Good naming and descriptions will help you find content in your library if you use SAM multiple times:
  10. Drag and Drop or Browse your files:

    If you have multiple parts of the same session, add them and they will upload and stitch together  in the order you set:
  11. After hitting Next, add your team context and click Start Upload:
  12. Your video (s) will then upload. It is IMPORTANT to keep your upload page open:
  13. Once uploaded, you can leave the page.
  14. You will receive an email notification when SAM has processed your session:
  15. Your session will be available in the Analysis menu option:

  16. Click Dashboard to view the full breakdown of your session:

    The Dashboard displays an overview of your session:

    All data points are synchronised to the original video:

    There are 5 behavioural categories that are split into types:

  17. Click on the instance to watch the clip back alongside the interaction details:
  18. Star the interactions you wish to reflect further on:
  19. Switch to the Starred tab to see these interactions as a playlist:

  20. Scroll on the right hand side to see the Label Breakdown per behaviour:
  21. Check out your most used Filler Words and Common Phrases:
  22. Click on the Language Analysis section to get a more comprehensive breakdown:
  23. Click Export to complete your reflection and download your PDF report:
  24. Check and complete your Team Context information:
     
  25. Use the provided prompts to support your Session Intention and Session Reflections:
  26. Once you are happy, please click on the Generate PDF button:
  27. Preview your PDF:
  28. You can change report's file name and hit Download PDF:

  29. Login to the Basketball Australia platform  powered by etrainu to submit your downloaded report.
